Harold Bell Wright Jr. "Hal" Obituary

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harold Bell Wright Jr., affectionately known as “Hal,” who was taken from us on June 19, 2026, at the age of 71.

Hal was a proud graduate of John Dickinson High School, Class of 1972. He later pursued his passion for technology, earning a certificate in microcomputer systems and networking with high honors from Delaware Technical Community College.

Hal had a lifelong passion for playing the drums and was an avid enthusiast of classic Corvettes. Above all else, however, he treasured the time he spent with his family and friends, whose love and companionship were the greatest joys of his life.

Hal leaves behind many who will cherish his memory, including his niece, Sara Wright; nephew, Jonathan Wright; cousins, Sandi Comely, Bill Wright; and a host of great- nieces and nephews, friends: Linda Gumprecht Gattuso and Jackie Brixius Foster. Hal was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Wright and Harold Bell Wright Sr.; brothers, David Wright and Garlda Wright.

He will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew Hal.

The family wants to extend their deepest gratitude to Raj Srivatsan for his unwavering compassion, dedication, and support during his time.
